    Overview

Corporate tax (CT) is a type of direct tax applied to corporations and other entities' net revenue or profit from their operations. Corporate Tax is also known as "Corporate Income Tax (CIT)" or "Business Profits Tax" in various jurisdictions.

As you may be aware, the UAE Ministry of Finance launched the Corporate Tax in 2022, and it will be fully implemented by June 2023, affecting the financial years of firms or businesses. As a result, audit firms in Dubai and UAE tax consultants have begun to provide corporate tax advisory and implementation services to businesses in the UAE.

    Significance of Corporate Tax

Corporate tax in Dubai is mainly focused on helping countries in developing a sustainable economy to improve corporate governance and, as a result, strengthen the national economy. The UAE government hopes that implementing corporate tax will reinforce the country's status as a leading worldwide hub for enterprises and investments. The company tax can help the country's development and change to achieve its strategic goals. The ultimate goal and most important aspect of the UAE corporate tax is that by implementing this direct tax, the country underlines its commitment to fulfilling international standards for tax transparency and eliminating harmful tax practices.
